I have a bottle of Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider in the refrigerator right now. I bought it, planning to open it on a special occasion, when I had something to celebrate. It's been three weeks and I can't find a reason to open it.
The way it looks now, I doubt I'll use it after these exams.

ReplyDeletewhen we students have a *real* reason to celebrate, i'll bring some of our *real* sparkling cider. brands like martinelli's is sweetened, carbonated (a la soft drinks) apple juice. genuine sparkling cider is fermented, usually with a secondary fermentation to get the carbonation, and far more interesting and delicious. =)
(err...i promise i'm not trying to sound like a snob, or belittle your celebratory beverage of choice! just stating that i've been meaning to bring cider to a party for a long time, and maybe if i tell someone else then i'll actually do it.)
